Root Canals are normally done in a single visit using state of the art technology. Often there is very little, if any, pain during or after treatment.

The symptoms for a root canal would be a tooth with hot and cold sensitivity with intermittent to constant pain. A consultation is needed to determine the severity of the infection. An antibiotic is sometimes needed to help fight the infection that causes pressure inside the tooth.
